Location is perfect. We had a lakeview room with a full lakeview. It is amazing. We can see the lake directly from the lobby, too. The lake is like in the hotel's backyard. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is OK. I hope that juices could be offered.

This is our preferred lodging when visiting Lake Placid. Great location across from Mirror lake, close to the Oval and downtown. Complimentary hot breakfast is good and offers something for everyone. The lobby is always buzzing with kids playing, guests enjoying a hot cocoa by the fire, or people enjoying a drink at the bar and live music. This Hampton Inn consistently delivers a comfortable retreat for the whole family (including pets)!

The staff was great to help me upgrade my room. once we saw the views on the lake we had to have it so we did an upgrade to get a balcony with that view for very little more money. Breakfast was amazing. Loved the comfortable Great Room. Pool and hot tub were amazing after a long day enjoying the slopes at White face mountain.

It was amazing. We travel 6-8 times a year and this place is in my top 5 favorite places to stay. Perfectly located across from the Lake Mirror. The breakfast is awesome. They had healthy choice foods like egg whites, turkey sausage, gluten free choices. Also had your comfort food like waffles, donuts, danish’s and several types of cereal. Had a very large breakfast area to sit and look out over the lake. They had chairs in the front lawn and a really nice fire ring area for large groups. The staff was outstanding. Text shortly after we were in our room to see that everything was satisfactory and again the next day. Indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Everything was working and well maintained.

Appreciated that the manager was able to change my room to a quiet location away from the elevator. It was on my original request but she said booking.com did not transfer that info. I liked that the staff made the fire pit available to sit around during the evening. It gave us a chance to meet some interesting people around the fire.

Location can’t be beat; it’s right on Mirror Lake. Room was very clean, comfortable and even had a microwave. The breakfast included with the room was outstanding. It had something for all tastes and dietary restrictions. The sitting area for breakfast overlooks the lake and is very spacious. The hotel is walkable to both the Lake Placid downtown shopping area as well as the public beach. We plan to stay again next time up there.

Every time we go skiing, we stay at this hotel, to us who live in another country and always stay more than 7 days, it is essential that we are able to wash our clothes. The staff are extremely helpful. We love this hotel because it meets our expectations, we always feel at home when we stay there.

A great hotel exceeding our expectations. Good location. Facility is great in quality with cozy design. The breakfast has great variety, delicious and the service time was long enough. The room, the beds and the bathroom were all very comfortable. We will likely return to this hotel if visiting the same place in the future.

I was very disappointed with the breakfast food. The oatmeal was watery. The egg omelet was dry and cold, and that sausage was awful. I had trouble finding something to eat that was palatable. Sorry, everything else was great.

The breakfast was plentiful, we liked the coffee/cocoa/tea bar set up in the lobby, the lemon/grapefruit water were refreshing, the location was great, front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, the lounge overlooking the lake was very comfortable and I was able to sit with my laptop and get work done, we were able to request a late check-out with no hassle.
