Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid

Breakfast food was mostly cold when it should have been hot. I was not able to control temp in my room, it was constantly hot. Staff sent someone who didn’t speak English to look at unit and I was annoyed that we were unable to communicate to fix the problem. I slept w/the window open for 3 days in March. Christmas music playing in lobby in February was annoying. Location was great, room was clean.

Breakfast was good, pretty standard fare overall but good. My room was very satisfactory and clean.. Location was excellent. The bartender was excellent and a very personable host this was a pleasant surprise. The person he was training was brand new and when trying to explain giving her a tip there was again a communication gap. She was good and attentive just not quite attuned to the custom of giving tips for her good service.

The breakfast was good. Our room was great , large lots of room. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Also so thoughtful to put a bottle of sparkling wine in our room to help us celebrate our anniversary, so nice 😊. Definitely will be back , but going to get a room with a balcony. The view was so nice of mirror lake , wish had gotten a room with balcony.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. There was a coffee, tea and water station in the lobby day and night. Hot chocolate station was set up periodically in the lobby. The room was very spacious and offered a beautiful view.

We had a lovely room - 2 queen beds - lakeview. The room was clean and lots of towels. The breakfast was more than we had expected - hot and cold food. Loved the little added touches such as the firepit, the afternoon cookies and lemonade and the popcorn. Very friendly staff. No complaints at all.
